Denison Avenue blends fiction and ink artwork to tell the story of Wong Cho Sum, a recent widow navigating life in Toronto’s gentrifying Chinatown. As she collects bottles to fill her days, she encounters grief, resilience, and the harsh realities facing Chinese Canadian elders. This poignant work is both a meditation on loss and a vivid portrait of a disappearing community.
